ICYMI, we've been up to cool things over at OKERA! We just the next evolution of the Okera Dynamic Access Platform with the introduction of the industry’s first “co-located” deployment mode for the Okera Adaptive Security Plane (OASP). Called nScale, organizations can deploy OASP on the same infrastructure as existing compute resources and scale elastically with them, eliminating the costs and complexity of manually managing a separate cluster.

This , we’d like to honor all of the veterans who have served and protected our country, with a special thanks to our own Scott "Griz" Grzybowski who served for over 30 years in the U.S. Navy.

Scott enlisted in the Navy at the age of 19 as an Aviation Electrician Mate before becoming a Helicopter Airborne Mine Countermeasures crew chief. He was deployed in Operation Earnest Will in the Persian Gulf protecting ships from underwater mines as his last active duty mission.

After being discharged, he joined the Navy Reserves serving in a variety of roles including crew chief, P-3 Orion Flight Engineer, and as a flight engineer for the C-130 Hercules for more than 15 years. He was promoted to Navy Chief before being commissioned as a Chief Warrant Officer (CWO-2). His final duty was as a Reserve Force Officer for the Selective Service System and was awarded the Joint Commendation Medal and the Meritorious Service Medal.

During his time on active duty, Scott began programming in Basic and DBase and created an aircrew qualifications database for real-time reporting. He has a deep background in technical solutions sales and implementation experience in the data ecosystem, and now serves as OKERA's Solutions Engineer for the West.
