We believe Ember’s technology holds promise to be an unusually powerful machine learning engine — able to absorb and analyze, understand, categorize and score, for example, 4x the entire daily Twitter Feed (about 12 billion individual data items, both text and image). This engine can provide customers with highly bespoke insights as to the needs and preferences of their user base in near-real time
. It uses statistical mechanics, a powerful branch of mathematics, harmonizing previously-thought-incompatible approaches that allows the engine to work at unprecedented speed and capacity. The engine rests on an entirely different mathematical logic than that employed by firms such as Google, Facebook, and Alibaba. It is thus altogether different than other approaches to unlocking AI’s potential and could pose a highly disruptive challenge to many established businesses.
