Snaptrude

Snaptrude Architects are problem solvers and storytellers, but early design is chaotic and fragmented. Sign up to create your first project! No more rework.

Snaptrude brings programming, modeling, analysis, presentation and collaboration into one connected space. Architects aren’t just designers: they’re problem solvers, storytellers, and master coordinators. But the early design process has become chaotic and fragmented, with creativity constantly interrupted by tools that don’t talk to each other. Snaptrude is built to change that. It brings the ent

ire early design workflow—programming, sketching, modeling, analysis, collaboration, and presentations—into a single connected space. So architects can go from a blank canvas to a compelling concept without jumping between SketchUp, Excel, Revit, and a dozen other tools. Snaptrude combines intuitive modeling with real-time data, AI-driven design support, and automatic documentation. No more wasted hours. Just more time to think, explore, and create. Snaptrude was made for the way architects want to work: fast, fluid, collaborative, and deeply human. Sign up today to create your first project!

You can now go from an empty site to a BIM model without leaving the canvas.

Here's every agent that makes that possible: what it does, and the problem it used to take hours to solve.

13 agents. One workflow. One tool.

A mixed-use project has multiple ways to read the same model. By unit type. By department. By floor. Usually you'd need separate files or manual workarounds to get each view.

This walkthrough shows how to layer multiple hierarchies onto the same model in Snaptrude and switch between them without rebuilding anything.

We built the Analyze Site agent because site research always ends up scattered across planning portals, PDFs, and browser tabs that nobody revisits.

Now you load your site, type in the context, and Snaptrude pulls zoning, setbacks, sun path, transit, and climate data automatically. The analysis sheets are ready before your first design decision.

Comment "site" to try it.

Most design tools automate the workflow and ask you to trust the output.

Snaptrude's agents work differently. You call one, review what it gives you, make a decision, then call the next. It's like an AI with checkpoints: site constraints, buildable envelope, massing, program, space planning, BIM. You stay in the loop and drive important design decisions at every step.

Swipe through a full tower workflow we presented recently, start to finish.

Once you know the zoning, the next question is: what can you actually build here? That usually means reading through setback rules, height limits, and coverage requirements before you've touched the model.

The Buildable Envelope agent picks up where the site analysis left off. It reads the zoning, runs the numbers, and gives you the 3D buildable envelope directly in the canvas. In this case: 85ft height limit, 15ft podium setback.

The part worth calling out: you're not stuck with what the agent gives you. If the output is close but not quite right, grab the push/pull tool and override it manually.

The agent gets you 90% of the way there in seconds. The design decisions stay yours.

We were at the AIA San Diego OnTAP event, doing a live demo in front of a room full of architects exploring real-time feasibility workflows.

Site analysis is the part of a project that happens before any real design thinking starts. You're opening tabs, cross-referencing data, piecing together what the site actually means for your building.

We showed how the Analyze Site agent collapses that into one step. Pick a site, run the agent, and you get three outputs: a full site analysis, a summary table, and a transit and connectivity map with visuals.

Before you can design a building, you spend days doing work that isn't design - reading zoning codes, converting constraints into geometry, building program spreadsheets from scratch.

Snaptrude AI handles all of it. Every step, in sequence, before you've drawn a single line.

30 minutes of AI kickoff. Then you start designing (and you can prompt again anytime).

Massing is where early design decisions lock in - floor plate shape, core position, how the building sits on the site. Getting these right before programming starts saves weeks of rework downstream.

The Explore Massing agent reads your buildable envelope and generates a massing based on what you describe. Orientation, setback intent, footprint shape - it places a form that fits the constraints, with all the necessary checks run before anything is placed.

The Place Cores agent then reads the floor plate, runs an egress analysis, and positions cores on every floor.

A few seconds later, you have a massing with cores and a clear handoff point for the programming agents.

We built multi-hierarchy tagging because the designer reads a building by unit type, the PM reads it by phase, and the client reads it by department, and most tools make you pick one before you start.

Now you tag spaces by any hierarchy you care about, switch the 3D view to that read, and generate a program sheet grouped the same way. Repeat for every logic the project needs.

Classify the same model in as many ways as you want.

Site analysis sets the boundaries for everything that comes after - and it's usually the most time-consuming part of early design. We built two agents to assist you.

The first one reads your site and pulls zoning, density, and climate data into a table you can edit. Approve it, and you get presentation-ready diagrams covering transit, street views, sun path, and wind (all auto-generated).

The second takes those constraints and builds a 3D envelope showing exactly what you can build on that site.

Ten minutes in, you know what the site allows and you have something to design inside.
