Magic Loops (YC S23) are the fastest way to create simple automations. Combine LLMs with code to make workflows easily repeatable in minutes, not days.
How does it work? It starts by taking a natural language description of your task, and uses generative AI to create a runnable “loop” that attempts to accomplish your desired output. Each loop is a combination of “blocks” (code, LLM calls, and events).
Once your Magic Loop is created, you can step through each block and check the output. At any point you can “regenerate” the block’s code using natural language. Plus, unlike low-code/no-code tools or agent-like frameworks, it gives you full control over the program that is created.
You can think of Magic Loops as the simplest way to write and run software. Learn more at https://www.ycombinator.com/launches/JKL-magic-loops-easy-automation-with-ai.
Co-founders Adam Williams and Mihai Bulic first met during the EECS program at Michigan, where they bonded over their shared passion for organizing live events (hackathons and outdoor games). Adam was most recently at a construction SaaS startup called Kojo, where he built digital tools for those building the physical world. Mihai was most recently a Tech Lead at YouTube, and spends his free time working on a tool that helps people breath more easily.
Today just 1 out of every 200 people can code. If we want to build a better future through automation, we need to enable more people with better tools. With Magic Loops, the team believes we can get to 1 programmer for every 5 people.
Congrats Adam and Mihai on the launch!
