Join GD faculty member Mary Banas for Seeing & Reading: Graphic Design Workshop.

This intensive graphic design workshop led by designer and CCA professor Mary Banas will offer participants a chance to engage the imagery and poetry from Way Bay 2 in a new way, experiment with a Risograph printer, and create a collaborative book to take home. Using collage and physical layout techniques, we will design book spreads and print them on the Art Lab Risograph machine.

This workshop is limited to twenty participants.
Free with museum admission.

Opening this Thursday: GD faculty member Bob Aufuldish's Disremembering project at the Institute Of advanced Uncertainty

"I shot film for years, and had it processed at what ever 1-hour photo processing shop was closest to my house. Over the years I accumulated bins of prints out in my garage. In September 2015 I began to cut them up and make a collage every day. Not everything in every collage is a photograph—as the series continued I incorporated scraps of paper, parts of make-ready sheets, colored tape, paint chips with evocative names, and other items. The series ended on June 5, 2018 after 1,000 consecutive days. The exhibition features 355 of the collages. Why 355? Why not all 1,000? Because 355 is what fits in the space."
