📍 You can get in the project management and be a project manager with or without a degree, but as I have said many times you need a strategy if you want to transition into project management by title
Certifications are great way to do that but they need to be done strategically. The PMP is a great one, but it takes time.
The CSM is instructor lead and can be done in two days or over a weekend and you have a real certification in less than a week. This is completely different than a LinkedIn or Google certificate because certificates and certifications in project management are not the same thing and they are not valued the same way.

🚦Project management certificates that you get from google or LinkedIn are fine but they aren’t certifications in project management.
🤓 You don’t have to have a college degree or a certification to get into project management, but you should definitely know the difference if it’s an avenue you want to go, especially an increase in pay
🎯 Top certifications are PMP and PMI-ACP but if you’re new to project management think about the CSM.
