We developed FREEandCLEAR to help people understand and manage the mortgage process. Getting a mortgage can be overwhelming at times so we wanted to develop a resource that people could use to make sense of a highly complicated process. We believe that empowering people through education, information and hands-on tools is the best way to help people take control of the mortgage process and make informed decisions about one of the most important financial matters in their lives. We have designed FREEandCLEAR to be a little different than other mortgage web sites. Our goal is to offer a compelling experience that our users find valuable. We strive to live up to our name – our site is always free to use and we offer a clear, intuitive user interface. We avoid unnecessary clutter on our site and focus on bombarding the user with rich content and useful tools rather than advertisements. We also welcome the participation of the FREEandCLEAR community with interactive features that allow you to ask mortgage questions and provide feedback on how we can improve our user experience. We recognize that there are always opportunities for us to deliver a better experience and we encourage input from our users. FREEandCLEAR also generates revenue but we attempt to do it in a way that complements or even enhances the user experience. We recognize that if we get the user experience right, everything else will follow.
