Southwest Antennas Joins the HEICO Corporation Family

POWAY, CA / April 8, 2026 / Southwest Antennas, Inc. (“SWA”), a leading designer and manufacturer of high-performance RF and microwave antennas, today announced that it has joined the HEICO Corporation family as part of HEICO’s Electronic Technologies Group.

The transaction represents a significant milestone in Southwest Antennas’ continued growth and expansion. Under the agreement, HEICO has acquired a majority ownership interest in SWA, while CEO Ben Culver retains a minority stake and will continue to lead the company.

Founded in 2005, Southwest Antennas specializes in rugged, mission-critical antenna solutions supporting military and public safety communications, as well as unmanned systems applications. The company’s products are widely deployed in demanding operational environments, where performance and reliability are essential.

“Joining the HEICO family represents an exciting new chapter for Southwest Antennas,” said Ben Culver, President and CEO of Southwest Antennas. “HEICO’s long-term approach, strong culture, and commitment to innovation align closely with our values. This partnership enhances our ability to invest in new technologies and better serve our customers.”

HEICO leadership also expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, noting Southwest Antennas’ strong reputation and technical expertise within the antenna market.

As part of HEICO’s Electronic Technologies Group, Southwest Antennas will benefit from additional resources, operational support, and strategic opportunities, while continuing to operate with the same leadership, team, and customer-focused approach that has driven its success.

Southwest Antennas will continue to operate from its headquarters in Poway, California, maintaining its 25,000-square-foot facility and its team of more than 110 employees. The company will remain focused on delivering innovative RF and microwave solutions, including antennas operating up to 8.5 GHz, as well as complementary products such as mounting systems, block downconverters, low-noise amplifiers, and filter modules.
