While the David Protein bars have received some bad press (Peter Attia anyone?), Attia's gone and the bars live on. Gotta say, the BRONZE bars -- 20g protein, 150 Cal taste really good. Way better than Gold (in our opinion). We've updated our recs below to include them and a NEW ENTRANT Jacked Granny.

How many protein bars are out there? So many. We've sampled at least 100 over the years and scored them based upon all sorts of categories. The same with protein cookies. There are less of those. People always ask us TWO things:

The capital of Lisbon and its nearby cities of Sintra, Almada, and Cascáis, offer an impressive number of destinations to admire. Don’t worry about workouts in a hotel gym. The steep hills throughout the tourist areas will burn your quads and glutes as well as any cardio machine. Seafood dishes are delicious here as is the gelado!

Most travelers skip spending time in San Jose on their way to Costa Rica’s beautiful beaches and rain forests. But, there are places and reasons in the city worth sticking around for…wake up to an early morning jog with many locals around LA SABANA PARK, Uber to the Escalante neighborhood for brunch and specialty coffee at FRANCO, head to the CENTRAL MARKET then a tour of the NATIONAL THEATER downtown, enjoy a late afternoon bite at OCTOBER 6 in the Amon neighborhood, then finish the night at the delicious and swank ENBOCA. The HILTON LA SABANA will ensure a restful overnight and tasty breakfast buffet the next morning (along with an impressive hotel gym with a view for miles). Pura Vida!

Marrakech is currently at the top of our 3-day adventure list. Historic culture, friendly locals, delicious (and inexpensive) food, and unique adventures set it apart from most other cities. Where else can you ride a camel and a high-speed go kart in the same day? And, bring comfortable walking shoes. We typically walked 5-6 miles/day. Summers get hot so best to go in March/April.
