I designed this greeting card for Romero Cookies to honor the song ā€œDe Coloresā€ and its beautiful lyrics. Just for fun, I put it into AI to see what it would come up with. Now you can compare my design with its version.

Thereā€™s nothing wrong with AI design if thatā€™s what youā€™re looking for. But if you want to stand out, thereā€™s nothing like a designer who knows typography and knows how to have FUN with it. The lettering, the personality, the little details? Those are intentional, mija.

I didnā€™t realize how hard I was being on myself, so afraid of making the ā€œwrongā€ decision again that I was overthinking instead of living. And mija, thatā€™s no way to live.

Iā€™m giving myself permission to choose, to try, to fail, even when things have gone badly before. I donā€™t have to keep punishing myself for that. Iā€™m trusting that no matter what, God, the universe, has got me and is guiding me where I need to be.

Take a breath, mija. Weā€™re going to be okay. šŸ¤
