New logo announcement!
I just wrapped up a "Brand New Brand" for a client who is starting up her personal color analysis business. That means she needs everything: logo, colors, messaging, vibe, the whole shebang.

💖 Together, we worked through her Brand Questionnaire and a few live calls to really zero in on what made her business so special. I'll share the whole brand soon, but here is a peek at her beautiful new logo!

It was especially fun coming up with the unique logo mark, meant to symbolize the color swatch deck each of her color analysis clients walks away with.

Flyer design!
I got to dig into the Happy Piggybank brand again to create a flyer for tax season. This was a quick project with a fast turnaround, and the client is excited to share her new flyers.

Usually I design in Adobe Illustrator, but she wanted this in Canva in case she wanted to make small modifications to the copy. So I made it in Canva, shared the "template link" and she is good to go!

🎨 I also had fun creating the custom graphics for the bottom of the flyer. Her retro brand has endless opportunities for creativity and flair.

Just wrapped up a custom window sign for a fabulous client! 🪧

Last spring, I created the brand, logo, and website for Vickey Vittes of Happy Piggybank Company. She reached out in December to ask if I could create a custom sign for her window to advertise her financial services in time for tax season.

Absolutely!

I opened up her brand guide, fired up Adobe Illustrator and let my imagination go wild! It was fun to revisit her funky, retro brand and create a 50's style drive in/diner sign. Overall, I kept it simple and readable so passers-by can read it quickly.

One phone call and a few rounds of revisions later, I sent her the print-ready file and she's ready to roll! Is it a birthday or anniversary?? 🎉

Whatever you call it, Heart Shine Brand Design has officially been in business for 3 years! What an incredible adventure this has been, with so many highs and lows and everything in between.

And through it all, I have endured. Learned. Grown. Adapted.

🧡 I have met so many incredible women. Created so many brands, logos, and websites that helped them grow. Wrestled with design software, website platforms, creative blocks, and late nights filled with worry and doubt. Celebrated each and every completed project with happy tears, pride, and the pure joy of knowing I made a difference in her life.

It's still incredible how far Heart Shine has come.

Back in 2022, I was at a low point. I had just been let go from a job I loved, and had no idea what to do next. All I really knew was that I wanted to help other women who were starting or growing their own business. I wanted to help them look and sound as incredible as they deserved. And I was so enamored with graphic design and branding that I knew this was how I could help. I spent a year learning, practicing, and researching everything I could get my hands on about branding. The more I learned, the more I loved it all!

Finally, I felt ready to pursue this as a paying job. But with the constraints of a busy family and household, I knew I had to work from home. I decided to take a leap of faith by starting my own business. I could set my own hours, choose my own clients, and continually adjust my deliverables and processes to best meet the needs of those I served.

☀️ I am forever grateful to those first clients for taking a chance with me. For trusting me with their business and brand. For leaving me reviews and recommending me to others, helping my business continue to grow.

And so begins another year in business! I am so excited to continue growing Heart Shine Brand Design, and thank you all for being along for the ride!

Brand Reveal time!

Time to show off the full brand for Catching Rays Coaching and Wellness ☀️

This was an incredible project for a wonderful client. Lisa Ralston is ready for a new chapter, for both her career and her life.

After retiring, she launched her new coaching business to help women of all ages discover balance, purpose, and peace. Starting a new business is no small task, and she knew she wanted a solid foundation to build on. So she came to Heart Shine Brand Design for a custom logo, brand, and website that truly speak to the heart of the women she feels so called to serve.

🧡💛 Together, we connected to what makes her work so unique and special, refining her message and aligning her visuals to match.

Her brand strategy is to be warm, radiant, and joyful, with an inviting message filled with hope. By using light, bright imagery paired with positive messaging, her goal is to speak directly to the heart of her ideal client.

💖 What sets Lisa apart is her genuine care and the radiant love she brings to her teaching and coaching. So her brand is infused with warm, golden energy that make the viewer feel safe, hopeful, and welcomed.

With this brand, she can draw in those who, like she was for so many years, are weary and in need of a healthier, more balanced way to live.

💻 Once her brand was complete, I created her Squarespace website (https://www.catchingrayscoaching.com), designed her business cards, and optimized the graphics and information on her Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn accounts (personal and company).

It was a joy working with Lisa to bring her beautiful brand to life, and I can't wait to keep cheering her on and supporting her work!
