Today we had a customer bring in his DJI Air 2S drone for major repairs. This drone can cost as much as 1500.00 and it had issues that required micro soldering as well as parts replacement. The customer was afraid it could not be repaired but was very pleased when he was able to get it fixed parts and labor for 150.00.....Here is what he had to say in a email to us:

"Thank you for repairing my DJI Drone Air 2S. I thought I was going have to scrap it or have a massive errand trying to find someone to repair it. To my surprise, your company found the parts and made the tedious repairs in a short amount of time. It looks like it is brand new and operates like the day I got it off the shelf. I really appreciate your hard work and care to make this happen."

Before you replace your drone or any other expensive electronic device, bring it to us and we will give it our best shot. And hats off to our tech Dylan Bell in our Canyon Lake store. He really loves a challenge!

From the owner: Blast from the Past....Here is a photo from 2006 taken at a computer class I held in La Vernia where participants got to not only build their own machine but they got to take it home and keep it for their use! These classes were a hit with the locals...Both kids and adults walked away with a general knowledge of the hardware and software that made these machines work...You can tell how old this picture is just from looking at the computers on the desk. Remember when the monitors were so big they looked like a mini fridge? LOl

A litle more history: The name "Computer Loft" came from our starting location in 2013: the 2nd floor "Loft" of a building we occuppied at the time overlooking the town. I had been working as a private IT contractor around the community and also operating a music teaching studio out of the same building (The Music Loft) when a opprotunity presented itself to open my own store. The local Radio Shack had provided those services in the past but had left town so the door was open for a new business to take its place. My kids were starting college and it sounded like a way to help put them through school so the idea was given "wings" and away we go!
Before long, our tiny office was inundated with requests. I needed more space to handle all the computers people were bringing, and when customers started requesting phone repairs, I needed more help. I hired my first "tech," moved The Computer Loft to a larger office, and we haven't stopped expanding the business since. Check out the services we offer now!
I credit our local customers and my amazingly talented team for our growth over the years. Thank you all for your support! We hope you'll come see us in our La Vernia location or our newest location in Canyon Lake.
