In this technical leadership role, you will oversee NIPR and SIPR Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments, ensuring the stability, security, and performance of virtualized systems supporting classified and unclassified networks.

Vision IT team members recently volunteered at the Dothan Area Botanical Gardens in Alabama as part of our Compassion Thru Action efforts. Together, the team contributed approximately 𝟱𝟲 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 throughout September.

From refreshing garden beds and preparing seasonal displays to assisting with fall planting and restoration projects, the team helped DABG prepare for one of its busiest times of the year.

We’re grateful to the Dothan Area Botanical Gardens for welcoming our team and sharing how much their time and energy supported the Gardens and the Wiregrass community.

Recent discussions around potential CMMC reforms have created questions across the Defense Industrial Base. While requirements may continue to evolve, one thing remains unchanged: 𝗰𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺.

Compliance frameworks are important, but effective cybersecurity extends beyond checking a box. CMMC’s evolution reflects a broader challenge facing the DIB: cybersecurity can’t be treated as a one-time compliance milestone. Organizations that view cybersecurity as an ongoing business priority, rather than simply a regulatory requirement, can build the flexibility needed to adapt as standards change.

As requirements are reviewed and refined, the focus should remain on protecting sensitive information while reducing the risk of compromise and strengthening resilience.

A closer look at the work happening behind the mission.

Recently, Rebekah Tilley, Operations Program Manager, visited our TADSS team and had the opportunity to see their 3D fabrication capabilities and Engagement Skills Trainer (EST) II in action.

During her visit, Antonio McKenzie, Project Manager, explained how the team supports government training through advanced simulation capabilities. The EST II is designed to simulate live weapon training events in a controlled environment, supporting individual marksmanship qualification, small-unit collective training and judgmental escalation-of-force exercises. The platform provides enhanced diagnostics and feedback on weapon handling, shot placement, fire control, and decision-making, helping service members build critical skills while giving instructors tools to coach and evaluate performance.

What stood out just as much as the technology was the team behind it. Not only has the customer been impressed by the quality of their work, but also by their adaptability and commitment to the mission. Whether supporting other locations, finding ways to keep production moving through disruptions, or going the extra mile to maintain high standards, this team consistently delivers. As Rebekah and Antonio noted, their positive attitude and willingness to tackle challenges head-on are just as impressive as their technical expertise.
