Another Silotech capability has advanced to Phase III of the Small Business Innovation Research program.

This milestone transitions previously developed capability into an operational program office within the Department of the US Navy. Working as a Salesforce partner, Silotech is delivering a Salesforce-based solution that gives program staff one environment in which to see current status, act on it, and produce the documentation the program owes, rather than moving the same information between systems that were never designed to work together.

This work grew out of the Air Force innovation ecosystem. With our most humble appreciation, the Silotech Group team thanks AFWERX and United States Air Force Research Laboratory for the mentorship and guidance that supported our Phase I effort. Your work continues to accelerate capability to our warfighters and strengthen our Nation.

Our thanks as well to Salesforce, whose platform makes this kind of modernization possible at the speed the mission requires. Phase III is the point the SBIR program exists to reach. It is where research becomes a capability in the hands of the people doing the mission.

Meet Syeda Khaleel, Senior Salesforce Developer at Silotech Group.

Syeda’s career journey is a great example of how curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to learn can open unexpected doors. Originally pursuing a degree in psychology with plans to become a counselor, Syeda’s career path took an unexpected turn after graduation.

Her interest in technology eventually led her to programming, where she began learning Java and later discovered Salesforce Trailhead. What started as a new skill quickly became a career. Today, Syeda brings her technical expertise and problem-solving mindset to developing solutions that support our customers and mission.

Beyond her technical work, Syeda is passionate about learning, growth, and helping others build confidence and independence. Her journey is a reminder that careers do not always follow a straight path, and sometimes the most unexpected turns lead to the right destination.

We are proud to have Syeda on the Silotech team and grateful for the expertise and perspective she brings to our work.

Behind every secure federal mission is a team of experts working to protect the systems organizations depend on every day. For the past four years, Ron Arnold has been one of those experts, serving as a Cybersecurity Engineer supporting the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). His work helps safeguard critical operations that enable one of the nation's largest federal healthcare organizations to serve millions of Americans.

Ron leads a highly specialized team responsible for maintaining and enhancing mission-critical security capabilities that support CMS facilities across the country. Supporting more than two dozen locations across eight regions nationwide, he works alongside a small team to ensure the reliability, resilience, and security of critical infrastructure. Although he has been with Silotech for four years, Ron has spent the past decade supporting the CMS mission, giving him deep technical expertise and a comprehensive understanding of the customer's evolving operational environment. Whether navigating complex infrastructure challenges or leading his team through critical issues, his focus remains the same: delivering dependable, secure solutions that keep the mission moving forward.

One experience in particular, reinforced for Ron what sets Silotech apart. While troubleshooting an emerging VMware hypervisor issue, he reached out for assistance from another Silotech engineer. Within minutes, he was connected with an expert who worked through the problem alongside him, providing the technical insight needed to quickly identify the issue and restore confidence for both Ron and the customer.

"When I needed a VMware expert, he gave me a call and asked, 'What do you need?' That interaction really brought home the fact that there is a team behind you. If you're in a bind, they'll help, and there are no questions asked."

For Ron, that experience reflects the culture that defines Silotech: a team of professionals committed to collaboration, technical excellence, and customer success.
