Please help us welcome Dylan Dougherty to our Professional Services team as our newest Network Administrator!

Dylan joins Computer Solutions with a strong background in enterprise networking, infrastructure management, and Cisco technologies. Most recently serving as the sole Network Administrator for a multi-campus school district, he managed an enterprise network supporting thousands of wireless clients, hundreds of access points, and more than 100 network switches. His hands-on experience includes routing and switching, wireless networking, network security, fiber infrastructure, and systems monitoring, making him a great addition to our technical team.

Based remotely in Corpus Christi, Dylan will be supporting our clients in the Corpus Christi market as part of our Professional Services team.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us last week for our Contact Center Innovation event, co-hosted with Cisco.

Our own Richard Lucas led an engaging discussion focused on the evolving contact center landscape and how organizations can create better customer experiences through modern technologies, integrations and automation.

We explored:
• The latest advancements in contact center solutions and integration strategies
• Emerging capabilities that help improve efficiency and business outcomes
• Ways organizations can enhance customer and employee experiences regardless of their current platform
• Practical approaches to solving common challenges across Cisco Contact Center Express, Cisco Webex Contact Center and third-party contact center solutions

One of the key takeaways from today's conversation was that improving the customer experience isn't about replacing everything you have. It's about identifying opportunities to optimize workflows, leverage new capabilities and deliver more value from your existing investments.

🌺 What to Wear Wednesday: Hawaiian Shirt Edition! 🌺

This month's What to Wear Wednesday brought plenty of tropical energy to the office! From bright Hawaiian shirts to colorful leis, it was great to see everyone embrace the beach vibes and have some fun together.

One of the highlights of the day was our participation drawing, where everyone who joined the theme had a chance to win an Amazon gift card. Congratulations to one of our newest team members, Xavier Jenkins, who took home the prize! With one of the coolest shirts in the office, he definitely brought the island spirit.

Events like these are a great reminder that a strong team culture is built not only through hard work, but also through shared moments of fun and connection. Thanks to everyone who participated and helped make this month's theme a success. We’re already looking forward to next month's What to Wear Wednesday!

Think you can outsmart a cyber threat?

Last week, the Computer Solutions team participated in Cisco Capture The Flag (CTF), a cybersecurity competition and learning platform designed by Cisco to help participants develop practical security skills.

It presents real-world, hands-on challenges, such as network defense, cryptography and vulnerability exploitation, that simulate modern cyber threats.

Cisco CTF is commonly used in training, academic programs and recruitment events to identify and grow cybersecurity talent:

- Engage in multiple missions that simulate real cybersecurity challenges.
- Compete individually or in teams to capture flags and earn points.
- Gain hands-on experience with tools and techniques used by cybersecurity professionals.
