🚨 Reality Check, Contest Edition 🚨

The demo that’s been haunting me for weeks? I just set it loose as a contest.

Submissions are open to anyone—no “techie” card required. If you’re curious, you’re in.
If you don’t understand something, that’s on me, not you.
Ask anything, anywhere—publicly or privately—and I’ll answer, no matter how basic.

How to join:
1. Watch the last 5 minutes of my “premiere” for the challenge:

2. Submit any entry: question, idea, drawing, code, wild hunch.
3. I’ll reply to every submission. Top ideas shape the future of Stagbrook Tech.

🚨 Reality Check, Contest Edition 🚨

The demo that’s been haunting me for weeks? I just set it loose as a contest. Submissions are open to anyone—whether you love meaning, have a knack for code, or just get curious when things get weird.

This isn’t just for “computer people.” If you don’t understand something, that’s on me, not you. Ask anything, anywhere—publicly or privately—and I’ll answer, no matter how basic it seems.

TWO CHALLENGES, ONE FIELD:

1️⃣ Reality Coding:
Want to see what happens when you let an AI build its own brain and decide what matters?
Watch the last 5 minutes of my “premiere” for the technical challenge. I’ll be entering my own code as a contender—and your solution could literally shape the direction of Stagbrook Tech.

2️⃣ Meaning-Making (No Tech Required!):
Don’t write code? Perfect. Here’s your challenge:
Describe (in words, images, a poem, a rant—anything) the strangest, truest thing you’ve ever noticed about reality, language, or meaning.
Or: Write the rule you wish all AIs would live by.
Or: Tell a story about a time when a conversation or a tool changed how you saw the world.
All perspectives are welcome. The winning “meaning entry” gets read in the next video and woven into the project.

If you’re reading this, you’re invited—code or no code.
Come shape what comes next.

📢 What I’m Working On — Bruce’s Open AI Project (For Humans, Not Just Nerds)

Hey friends! You’ve probably heard me mention “the AI thing” I’ve been building. Here’s what’s actually going on—and why it’s worth caring about, even if you’re not a techie:

The Big Idea
Imagine an AI assistant that actually learns new things over time, gets smarter in the open, and is owned by the public, not just a giant company.

It’s like building a “Wikipedia of smart assistants”—transparent, safe, and improvable by anyone, not just a chosen few.

What Makes This Different?

Safety is non-negotiable.
Every answer is double-checked—first by strict rules (no privacy leaks, no dangerous nonsense), then by a public “constitution” of values (always state limits, don’t make stuff up, protect privacy).

It learns in public.
Whenever the AI learns a new skill (like “summarize a book” or “write a poem”), it’s added to a public library—so anyone can see what it learned, how it learned it, and even use or remix those skills themselves.

No black boxes.
Every single test, mistake, or improvement is logged and shared. You can literally watch the AI get smarter—or catch it screwing up and suggest a fix. The community is the QA team.

Community-owned, not corporate-controlled.
All the money, decisions, and development are transparent. Anyone can join, contribute, or see where the dollars go. This is not Big Tech’s playground.

Why Bother?
Because right now, nearly all “smart AI” lives inside private, for-profit walled gardens.

Nobody really knows how they work, what they’re learning, or whether they’re treating users fairly.

We’re building something the world can actually trust, check, and improve—together.

If we pull this off, everyone benefits: safer, smarter tools; real public oversight; and a shot at AI that’s useful for actual people, not just shareholders.

(Obviously, ChatGPT is my ghostwriter. If you want the raw, unfiltered Bruce version, buy me a coffee and I’ll rant in person.)
