The trade plays an important role in building and maintaining everything from structural steel and buildings to vehicles and industrial equipment.

As the need for skilled welders continues, Fortis’ hands-on training is helping prepare the next generation with the skills they need to succeed.

Hi Everyone,

We have exciting news! We have partnered with the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) to provide some educational sessions to our students this week. Two representatives from NMDP will be on campus for several sessions tomorrow and Thursday in LR3/4, and we would love our students to talk with them about how they could be a life-saving option for someone diagnosed with blood cancer. Even if they are not a good candidate to join the national bone marrow donor registry, just learning about the program is a great opportunity.

For teachers who are holding classes tomorrow and Thursday, please plan to bring your students to one of the scheduled sessions below. It will take no more than 30 minutes, and we will have snacks for the students to enjoy. We are excited to be able to partner with such a vital organization to the healthcare community!
