Ask your IT provider one question: can you prove it?

Solid Networks is SOC 2 Type 2 certified. That means an independent auditor tested our security controls over a period of time and verified they actually work. Not a questionnaire we filled out ourselves. Not a logo we bought.

Labor Day is Monday and most Central Valley offices will be quiet.

Quiet offices are when problems get found. Ransomware crews, phishing runs and hardware failures do not check the holiday calendar, and a Friday afternoon issue can sit unnoticed until Tuesday morning.

Four things worth doing before you leave Friday:

1. Confirm your last backup actually restored, not just that the job ran green.
2. Make sure your team knows who to call and how to reach them.
3. Check that alerting still goes to a person who will see it over the weekend.
4. Remind staff that holiday themed emails are a favorite phishing hook.

What a GREAT day on the green for a GREAT cause with GREAT people! ⛳

Solid Networks was proud to be part of the Love Our Cities Golf Tournament! A huge thank you to Jeff Pishney for doing such an amazing job organizing this event!

Our foursome, Nicholas Hultberg, Brian Bill, David Medina, and Douglas O. represented us well out on the course winning 2nd place, while Michelle Walshaw and I had the privilege of greeting golfers at sponsored hole #9. We loved meeting so many great golfers, including our friends from the team at Flory Industries Inc!

Grateful for a community that shows up for each other.
