tors. They moved into the shared studio space in 2013, and began their Paper & Pints series, which included live printing demos and visiting artists. A strong passion for education and preservation is what motivated them to open their space as a community studio in the Spring of 2016.

NEW workshop alert! Learn how to CMYK photos or illustrations using the Risograph! Sunday, September 27th from 10:00am to 4:00pm 🌈

In this 6 hour workshop, attendees will learn advanced RISO techniques including separating an image into channels, adjusting them for print, and then experiment with raster options. We’ll be printing in Aqua, Fluo Pink, Yellow, and Black ink.

Attendees will leave with an edition of 25 8×10 prints and one of everyone else’s prints, as well as a resource packet and color chart. Upon completion of the workshop, attendees will be eligible for studio time to return for future projects.

NOTE: Participants should have their own laptop with Photoshop. All other materials provided.
Though not required, this session is best for those who have taken the Riso Intensive or have comparable experience.

Bethany will introduce the tools, how to transfer your design, carving techniques, inking, and printing on clothing. You BYOC “bring your own clothing” and leave with your carved stamp and printed clothing items! No experience required.

We’ll have the presses inked up. You’ll learn what letterpress is all about, and print a keepsake to take home.
