This week’s prompt is an animal you saw in the wild 🦈☀️ One of the coolest experiences was diving with bull sharks in Cabo. We didn’t know they were bull sharks when we were down there, then found out when we got back to the boat 😱 it was such an awesome trip and we are so excited to be back in cabo in a few months with the same crew while two of them tie the knot.

my hometown ☀️ the prompt for week 2 of .design illustration challenge is to draw your hometown. our little town gets a bad name, but it’s where i grew up, where my family and friends are, and I think its pretty cool to walk into any place and everyone know not only you but your whole family ❤️ don’t get me wrong, I still have the itch to go and I want to see everywhere (especially have a thing for the mountains), but I’m always happy to come home.

Decided to participate in .design‘s illustration challenge. The first prompt was a traditional tattoo design that I thought was going to be super easy. 🙈 Well, I thought wrong. I learned I actually know nothing about tattoo design or traditional tattoo design. 😜 So here’s what we ended up with.

- first pic / my first attempt at a traditional tattoo design and my favorite design… BUT after researching “traditional tattoo art,” I realized it was not very traditional tattoo looking.

- second pic / my second attempt at changing the original design to be more “traditional” tattoo style

- third pic / reference photo that happens to be my hunky hubby in his rodeo days 😍

Get Lost ⛰️

A couple weeks ago, my bandana design for went live (the day after my birthday 🥳) This design is part of their CAMP BANDITS collection.

This design was inspired by my first backpacking trip with my husband in Colorado. I already loved being outside and traveling, but this trip is what set me on fire for the mountains. 🔥

It is such an honor to have got to partner with Bandits for this design. They have been amazing to work with and definitely make the sickest bandanas (especially this one, although I may be a little biased 😜)

on our way back from alabama and we realized this is our 11th trip in the rv and we have put over 19,000 miles on the ol’ girl in exactly a year. 4th of July last year was our first trip with her. i guess you could say we are officially “rv people” now 😎 I drew this on the road today in honor of our 1 year rv-versary
