A little Chicago, a little Hamptons, and a wedding suite designed entirely from the ground up. 🩵
As Sarah + Ryan celebrate their first anniversary, we’re looking back at the stationery we created for their September wedding alongside Kara Superfine Events.
With their story beginning in the Hamptons, we wanted their stationery to feel like a reflection urban meets coastal: sophisticated and timeless, with just the slightest nod to the coast.
Nothing about this suite came from a template.
We selected the paper, considered the proportions, and chose an oversized invitation for a more formal presence. Dusty blue letterpress brought a extra romantic wisp invitation, while a coordinating reception card, custom hydrangea vellum wrap and dusty blue wax seal layered in subtle references to the Hamptons without ever feeling overtly nautical.
And when the wedding day arrived, that same visual language carried with it.
Dusty blue appeared throughout the day-of paper, becoming part of the tablescape itself — right down to one of our favorite details: a circular thank-you note tucked beneath each guest’s plate, waiting to be discovered.
The invitation doesn’t have to be one beautiful moment that ends when it arrives in the mail. It can be the beginning of a story that carries all the way to the table.
Happy one year, Sarah + Ryan. 🩵
