Is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sag Harbor Industries since 1990, operates out of the Sag Harbor Industries facility on Long Island and manufactures electric locking hardware and controls for the Security, Hardware, and Door control industries. With the in-house capability to provide electronic assembly, coil winding, molding, and fabrication for large and small quantities, we are uniquely equipped to serve the security systems industry. We typically ship orders same day, even locks and hardware in anodized or plated chrome or brass finishes. This is possible as a result of our sizeable on-the-shelf inventory. We have inherited the OEM contract manufacturer attitude from our parent company and welcome requests from our customers for products to meet special needs. Dortronics Systems introduces five to six new products each year. These devices are usually developed as a result of customer requests for a solution to an application problem. In addition our engineering department continually monitors the latest technical advances looking for ways to improve and enhance our existing products. Dortronic’s customer relation staff is cross-trained to provide the easiest friendliest interface with our customers. We encourage our customers to utilize our toll free “800” number for information requests, placing orders, checking order status, or technical support. Dortronics Systems field sales staff are independent manufacturer’s representatives, specializing in access control products for the Security industry. This group provides sales coverage for all fifty states; International sales are handled through the main office. Our marketing philosophy is to involve everyone from the top to the bottom. Both our inside sales staff and the field sales representatives are providing feedback from our customers as to what they want. From this information we develop new products and market programs. Dortronics exhibits the latest innovations in electronic security hardware at major security trade shows and seminars throughout the year. "We proudly stand behind every one of our products through our customer service, product dependability, and Quality product warranty." John FitzPatrick, President.
