If your business runs Windows 11, October 13th is a date worth having on your radar.

Windows 11 version 24H2 Home and Pro reaches end of updates that day.

After that, PCs still running those editions will no longer receive Microsoft’s regular security and quality updates.

This doesn’t mean you need to panic or start replacing computers.

It does mean it’s a good time to know:

• What Windows version your PCs are currently running
• Whether eligible systems are ready for Windows 11 25H2
• Whether updates are actually being installed and managed across the business

You can check your version under:

Settings → System → About → Windows specifications

This is one of those small IT housekeeping items that’s easy to overlook because everything appears to be working normally.

A quick check now is much easier than discovering later that several of your business computers have quietly fallen out of support.
