My neighbor told me last week she'd love to try AI tools but she's "not a tech person."

I almost laughed. Same boat over here. Never written a line of code in my life. Last week I called my husband to ask how to change the wifi password.

Here's what nobody tells beginners about AI. It's the opposite of tech. No coding involved. The whole thing is typing a sentence and reading what comes back.

If you can text your kids, you can use Claude. Searching Google? Syllaby is the same skill. Hitting play on a YouTube video? That's HeyGen.

The barrier isn't the technology. It's the story you've been telling yourself about not being smart enough.

A friend asked me last month how long it took to build my first digital product.

I told her two days. She didn't believe me.

She'd been working on hers for eight months. Researching. Outlining. Watching course-creation tutorials about how to create courses. The cycle never ended.

The truth is, the product doesn't need to be huge. It needs to solve one problem really well. A 10-page guide that saves someone 10 hours of frustration is worth $37 to them. Easy.

She started over that weekend. Used Claude to draft the whole thing Saturday morning. Edited Sunday. Had a Canva cover by Sunday night.

Done beats perfect. Always has.

There's a specific kind of fear that hits when you open a blank document and try to write something strangers will pay for.

I had it bad. I'd open Google Docs, type three sentences, delete them, and go reorganize my pantry.

For months I called it "planning." Looking back, it was just hiding.

The thing that finally got me unstuck wasn't motivation. It was Claude. Gave it a prompt at 9am and by 11am I had a 10-page draft. Not perfect. Not even close. But it was something I could edit.

Editing is a thousand times easier than starting. Once I figured that out, the pantry stayed messy and the work got done.

I used to stare at my phone for 40 minutes every morning trying to think of something to post.

Same routine. Open the app. Brain freezes. Close the app. Tell myself I'll try again later.

The problem wasn't that I had nothing to say. It was that I kept guessing what people wanted to hear instead of finding out.

When I started using Syllaby, those 40 minutes turned into 4. I'd type my topic and it would show me the exact questions real people were searching. No more guessing. Just answer what they're already asking.

If your content feels like shouting into a void, you might be writing for the wrong audience. Or no audience at all.

Find what they're searching. Then say it back to them.

My camera roll has 47 video attempts. None of them got posted.

Every single time I tried to record myself talking about AI tools, I'd watch it back and cringe. Hair looked weird. Voice sounded off. The way my hand kept moving made me nuts. Three minutes in, I'd delete it.

Figured if I couldn't get the camera right, there was no way I'd ever build a business online.

Then I found out about AI avatars. You write the script. The avatar reads it. Your face never has to be on screen again.

I made my first HeyGen video at 11pm on a Tuesday. Posted it Wednesday morning. Got more views in 24 hours than every camera attempt combined.

Funny what happens when you stop trying to fix the wrong thing.

The first time I asked ChatGPT to write a sales page, I almost shut my laptop and gave up.

It spit out something that sounded like a robot reading a textbook. Stiff. Generic. Boring.

Sat there thinking maybe AI just wasn't going to work for me. Everyone else made it look easy.

Then I figured out the problem wasn't ChatGPT. It was the way I was talking to it.

Started giving it a role first. "You're a friendly copywriter who writes for beginners." Told it who the reader was. Then added what I wanted them to feel.

The next draft came out totally different. Warm. Direct. Sounded like something I'd actually say.

If your first AI output feels flat, you're not bad at this. You just haven't taught it how to talk to your people yet.

The next 12 months of your life can look totally different from the last 12.

That's not a stretch. It's exactly what happens when someone finally takes the idea they've been sitting on and turns it into something real.

On Thursday at 1pm Eastern, I'm going live to walk you through how. The actual path from an idea in your head to income you can rely on.

Pay off the debt. Book the trip. Stop running numbers at the grocery store. The kind of life-shift that's hard to imagine until you see it happen.

Got an idea? Bring it. Don't have one yet? Come anyway. We'll find one on the call.

Grab a seat: www.monetizingyourimagination.live

See you Thursday.

Website.
Product.
Funnels.
Email system.

Thatโ€™s overwhelming.

But most people who succeed start much smaller.

They start with:

โ€ข One idea
โ€ข One piece of content
โ€ข One simple system

Then they build from there.

You donโ€™t need the full system.

You need the first step.

Momentum grows from starting, not planning.

Whatโ€™s one thing youโ€™ve been waiting to โ€œset upโ€ before starting?

If you want to see a simple starting path, I broke it down here:

Not because itโ€™s complicatedโ€ฆ

but because no one shows you how to start simply.

Most beginners try to learn everything at once.

Instead, try this:

Start by asking AI basic questions.

Things like:

โ€ข โ€œExplain this like Iโ€™m newโ€
โ€ข โ€œGive me simple examplesโ€
โ€ข โ€œBreak this into stepsโ€

Thatโ€™s how you learn.

Not by mastering it all at once.

But by using it a little at a time.

AI becomes easier the moment you start interacting with it.

Have you tried asking AI simple questions yet?

If you want to see beginner-friendly ways to use it, I explained it here:
