The Waco Housing Authority Board of Commissioners has appointed Rebecca Ellis as Acting President & CEO of the Waco Housing Authority (WHA). Rebecca has dedicated her career to public service and affordable housing, bringing extensive leadership experience in human resources, organizational development, strategic planning, communications, and agency operations.

During her tenure with the Waco Housing Authority, she has played a key role in strengthening organizational culture, improving operational efficiency, leading major agency initiatives, and supporting the Authority’s mission to serve families throughout the community.

During the 12 months ending June 30, 2026, the Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA) and local economic development partners helped secure commitments for 26,225 projected new jobs and more than $109 billion in investment statewide—both single-year records. The projected positions carry an average wage of $81,368, exceeding Arizona’s median wage.

FY2026 also marked the 15th anniversary of the ACA, which was established in 2011 to diversify and strengthen Arizona’s economy through strategic business attraction, expansion, and creation. Since its inception, the ACA and its partners have helped secure more than 1,428 competitive projects, representing more than 338,000 projected new jobs and over $304 billion in capital investment across the state.

Congratulations to the ACA on its milestone fiscal year and for celebrating 15 years of impact in Arizona!

Governor Gavin Newsom recently announced $48.5 million in funding for 18 projects across eight economic regions and 33 California counties, supporting an estimated 20,000 direct and indirect jobs through the California Jobs First Regional Investment Initiative.

Funding will advance key industries including aerospace and defense, advanced manufacturing, high-tech, shipbuilding, space and satellites, and quantum technology. With several PDDG client partners in the regions receiving funding, we’re excited to see how these investments will drive innovation, job creation, and economic growth across California.

For the fourth year in a row, our team developed and implemented the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) annual Excellence in Partnering Awards Ceremony. This year also marked the 26th anniversary of the awards program.

This signature event recognizes the top transportation construction projects from across the state that exemplify partnership, teamwork, and honest, open communication. Our creative team developed the theme and overall design aesthetic for the event program, posters, signage, award certificates, and various other print and digital products. We also provided comprehensive event planning services for the day of the event.
