As a former fire chief, I learned this the hard way: assumptions put crews in bad spots.

You cannot assume everyone knows the policy, remembers the procedure, or caught the last update.

Train it. Repeat it. Give people the resources before they need them.

The calls were never what stressed me out the most in 25 years of doing this.

It was the narc count at shift change. Especially after a long night. Seal number doesn't match, or somebody swapped a box and didn't write it down, and now you're standing there going through the paper log trying to figure out what happened. Been there way too many times.

And don't get me started on audits!

Anyway that's a big reason we built LogRx around QR codes. You scan it, log what you did, and that's it. It's just there when you need it.

Little stuff turns into big stuff fast in EMS. Ask me how I know 😂
