Hot take: 'Bambu vs Creality' isn't a printer question — it's a workflow question. Bambu wins if your time costs more than your printer. Creality wins if tinkering IS the hobby. Track your troubleshooting hours for a month, multiply by your hourly rate — that number tells you which one is actually cheaper for you. What's your split: printing vs tuning?

Saturdays are for makers. Come by Roy (5519 S 1900 W) or Murray (6212 S State St) — we've got filament, parts, upgrades, and a whole lot of opinions about first-layer squish. What are you printing this weekend?

Weekend project inspiration dropped. That's a Baby Groot planter someone printed and it's got us grinning — those little arms have no business being that clean.

What's on your bed this weekend? Tag us when it's done — we love seeing where the filament ends up. 🖨️

Hot take: PLA isn't the 'beginner' filament — it's the most underrated creative material in the game. Silk for gallery pieces, matte for cosplay that photographs like resin, wood-fill for gifts that feel handmade. What's the best thing you've ever printed in PLA that made someone say 'wait, THAT came off a 3D printer'? Drop a pic.

The best part of these community days isn't the demo — it's watching a kid pick up an articulated dragon and immediately try to figure out how the joints print in place. That's a maker in the wild. What was the first print that made you go 'wait, how?'

That plate is packed. Looks like a small army of figures mid-print — heads, torsos, the works. What's the run for? Tabletop, cosplay, custom order? Show us what's coming off your printer this week. We love seeing where the filament ends up.

Stringy PETG? Check nozzle temp before you blame the spool — a 3° drift will hair a whole print. Drop yours 5° and re-slice. What's your PETG temp right now?

If your ABS parts yellowed and cracked after a summer outside, you didn't fail — you picked the wrong plastic. ASA is ABS's UV-stable cousin: same stiffness and impact resistance, but built to actually live outdoors. Run it at 240–260 °C nozzle, 90–110 °C bed, cooling near zero, always in an enclosure. What outdoor part have you had to reprint the most?

Tip Tuesday: your nozzle size is doing more work than you think. 0.4mm is the daily driver — fast, strong, great for most jobs. Drop to 0.2mm when the detail actually matters (mini terrain, jewelry, tiny mechanical parts) and accept the slower print. What's living in your hotend right now?
