Happy ! 🏛️ Today, we’re celebrating a project that is going to forever change Austin’s skyline and the future of our community.

This past August, the UT Board of Regents approved Phase I of the new UT Dell Medical Center, part of a monumental $5 billion, 300-acre campus off MoPac built in collaboration with UT MD Anderson.

🌟 This is huge news on 2 fronts:
This means world-class, life-saving cancer care, tier-one medical research, and a massive economic driver are setting up shop right in our backyard!
The stunning architectural renderings released for the project were designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) and for our local AEC community, this project is also a loud wake-up call that Austin is a global market now. National firms are entering Texas deliberately.

In July, Austin Transit Partnership signed a $39 million deal with Stadler to design the system's electric vehicles. That's on top of February's pick of Austin Rail Constructors for civil and systems work.
