Multi-Factor Authenitcation required for all Microsoft 365 users by October 15th.
This has been a long time coming, and we expect all vendors to require MFA sometime next year.
Access tokens can still be compromised, but MFA makes threat actors work a lot harder to compromise accounts, please get familiar!

A routine software update for a popular Crowdstrike cybersecurity tool is causing chaos on Windows computers worldwide today.
The update contains code errors that conflict with Windows, rendering machines unusable and forcing IT companies into recovery mode.

Crowdstrike quickly released an update to fix the bug after discovering the error, but for machines unable to download it automatically, a system restore is unfortunately required.
The hardest-hit industries are airlines and banks. McDonald's has also reported closing some of its stores while awaiting a resolution, as they are unable to process payments.

Going to be a long weekend for IT personal.
