3 days ago, I got an unexpected call from the antique / vintage shop that Ozark Retro has called “home” over the past year and a half. Due to a contractual issue with their landlord, they are being forced to immediately close their doors next week. I didn’t want to risk any issues with my inventory, so I have already cleared everything out of my Ozark Retro booth.

I’ve had a chance to think through what’s next for this business. Unfortunately, I’m not planning to relocate to another local store at this time. Between my new full-time job this year and being busy with family activities, I just don’t have the time right now to pour into a local storefront. I will slowly start to list my remaining inventory on my existing eBay Store (link in profile). I do plan to hold onto the Ozark Retro name for continued use online, and if there’s ever a better time/opportunity in the future I hope that you see the Ozark Retro logo at a physical location again one day!

Thanks so much to everyone who has purchased items from my booth, interacted with social media posts, or reached out to chat about retro gaming. I appreciate all of the local support that I’ve had over the past couple of years. Reach out if you have any questions, or if you just want to geek out and chat. 🙂
