This is huge. Stop what you are doing and go change your passwords. Don't stop with Google, Apple and Meta, but update all banking and personal sites. If it is possible to setup multi-factor authentication (MFA) on the login, do it. Do NOT use the same password for every site. If you need a way to keep track of passwords, there are several great tools out there. 1Password and Keeper for iPhone and Bitwarden and Lastpass for Android. All of them have PC compatible apps so that you can access your passwords from any device and you don't have to remember it. There is also new Passkey technology that can use your local PC login to authenticate to the sites. If available, please take advantage of it.
Make sure you setup recovery methods and email addresses on your accounts as well. If you are compromised, you will need those to recover your account.
Stay Safe!!
This is a colossal breach involving 16 billion exposed credentials — possibly the G.O.A.T. of all data breaches.
