FCN is seeking an HPE Staff Senior Systems Engineer

Clearance Level: Top Secret preferred.

FCN is looking to fill a staff HPE Senior Systems Engineer position. The candidate must have demonstrated ten years or more of systems engineering experience assisting end-user technical and management teams with overall technological leadership. A proven ability to translate technology into solutions, selecting/architecting a coherent, supportable system structure capable of being elastic/ adaptable in nature. Able to respond to various demands for active and supportive sub-system-specific requirements and defined outcomes using HPE server/compute, storage, networking, software, and systems.

This position will require the candidate to work closely with a highly successful and motivated sales team, corporate Directors, and company owners. The ability to build working relationships between teams is vital, and the ability to communicate effectively is key.

Specific
• Preferred candidate should have five (5) or more years demonstrated experience designing, testing, implementing, HPE technology solutions.
• Preferred candidate to hold, current, senior level HPE certifications in HPE server/compute, storage, and networking, software, and systems technologies.
• Ability to develop and follow procedures for managing operations for a storage infrastructure.
• Ability to innovate and develop technical solutions based upon gov’t customer requirements.

Education and Certifications
• A Bachelor of Science in computer science, information technology, information technology management, and computer engineering is desired or the equivalent of experience. A master’s degree is a +.
• Desired Information Technology Infrastructure Library Foundations (ITIL 4)
• Desired Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Desired CompTIA Network+
• Desired Project Management Professional (PMP)

Income Expectations: Based upon experience.

Work Schedule:
• This is a full time, in office position.
• Ability to work remote 2 or 3 days a week once fully trained and has complete understanding of the role. Ability to work from home must be approved.

Description:
Purchasing agent is responsible for coordinating all activities associated to procurement of materials and supplies. Ideal Candidate will have prior experience in Purchasing and/or Sales Support. This individual should possess strong organizational, written, and verbal skills. Must have ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
• Prepare and process purchase orders for supplies and equipment, compliant with government order deadlines
• Assure the correct material was ordered for the different type of government contracts
• Resolve purchase order and invoice differences with suppliers, as to wrong deliveries, payments, invoices, credits, payment terms, and duplicate billings.
• Assist customer service reps track down orders.
• Act as liaison between FCN Inc and Suppliers/Vendors
• Make effective and independent decisions.
• Follow established ISO9001 quality system documentation related to purchasing and production control.

Job Requirements:
• 5+ years relevant work experience in the Information Technology industry/space.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of products including, but not limited to Excel and Word
• Bachelor’s Degree

• Learn registration process and register opportunities with OEMs
• Processing Government Purchase Orders
• Tracking individual orders to be invoiced
