For Mother's Day I made some special treats for our Linden Tree Inn guests. We presented them to the Mom's when they placed their orders for breakfast. I etched glasses for vases and we bought flowers for them, and I made cards too.....I used my Silhouette Digital cutter to cut the stencils for the glasses and the butterflies on the cards....the Happy die is Crafters Companion, and the Mother's Day is Anna Griffin. It's a little difficult to see the glass etching...but I had a tree with heart leaves and Linden Tree Inn above the tree....they all loved their surprise!!

Some fun coloring I did the other day.....used my Spectrum Noir Markers and coloring books. Think I will cut the butterflies out and put them on some cards....

What has everyone been busy crafting? I made cute little Easter "baskets" with my Silhouette.....super easy! They looked adorable on the breakfast table and the guests loved them!

So hard to lose a child, no matter the circumstances......I will be sending a card to the family to support them as they grieve, there is an address in this article where to send them....no one should have to deal with such a tragedy......

The family of the toddler killed by an alligator is privately mourning, their church back home in Elkhorn, Nebraska is stepping up to receive cards and donations on their behalf.
