When did you first meet Apple?
It is the 50th Anniversary of Apple Computer.
Someone was going to bring computing down to the personal user.
This is the set of problems Apple embarked to solve and bring to your desktop. But wait, not just your desktop it is now in your pocket.

Many attempted to bring computing to the individual user.
Big Names IBM certainly got the ball rolling.
Intel by reducing the size of processor.
Radio Shack the circuit and chips supply chain.
But it took two guys in a garage with little to loose and a vision for making personal computing (a box on a desktop) materialize.
Yes, you can put all the circuits together to calculate an answer, but how do you interface with it besides punching a card and feeding it into a slot and waiting for a response? Software- programming language - saving the data and programming.
Showing the resultant data in real time.
All this technology was in practice in big multi-million dollar companies who had a budget to buy and support computing.
Could it be made for the individual user to own?
This is the set of problems Apple embarked to solve and bring to your desktop.
But wait not just your desktop it is now in your pocket.
Considering all the components that had to be developed, mass produced and integrate with one another to deliver a reliable user experience. Apple has accomplished a world changing feat. I equate it to the same impact that Fords development of automobile had on the world and therefore call Apple computer (PC) the modern-day Automobile.
