CnJ provides quality media to repeat customers. We love the creative aspect of storytelling, but also enjoy the technical aspects of making sure it’s all done well. So contact us to discuss your next story.

SML Marketing, LLC asked us to make two promo videos for their Mamasicles® molds. The short version was a 20-second promo. You can see the longer "cooking-show-style" video on this product page on Amazon.

I found the source files of a for-fun video I did in 2012. I was never happy with it from a technical standpoint. So finding the source files gave me an opportunity to remake it in my current software the way I wanted it to be back then. Not really a capability demo since it's pretty simple, but it was fun to shoot with my kids.

My kids have been begging to do another video since we did the Valentine video (https://vimeo.com/155259996) for my wife in 2016. So for Jennifer Campbell's birthday this year, the kids and I made another video. It was a fun experience, Jenn and the kids loved it, and I always learn technical things to improve my craft as well. Mostly I learned about how each person has to know exactly where they were in each previous take/adjacent shot. There were lots of flubs there. I also got some much-needed help from Stan Kingma to clean up my audio which was a bit choppy.

Here's the latest project... It was great to visit Pastors College friends last fall when my wife and I filmed this in the beautiful Boston area. My header image is actually a photo my wife Jennifer took of me in a church prepping for one of the interviews.

Here's my latest project. I struggled with trying to combine a DSLR and run-n-gun Camcorder (I only brought the DSLR in case I had problems with the rented camcorder, but it turned into my CamAngle2). The Ol' Canon T2i with 17-55 lens had a nicer look in some respects than the Sony PXW-X70 (mostly depth of field). I am also regularly challenged by getting a multi-cam to not feel awkward. Anyone have any advice on how to get a dual cam look that doesn't seem like an awkward transition from view to view?

Here's my 2016 Demo Reel! Because I do smaller productions, I have to shoot solo most of the time to keep costs down. This demo reel demonstrates my artistic, lighting, cinematography, and FX skills.

This is the second to last video in this series. It has been a great experience. Trying to create something fresh that creates interest is a challenge. I think this one, with its unique anonymity challenges, forced me to try harder and dig deeper into creativity. Hopefully it worked.
