Direct mail still works, but only if you give people a reason to respond.
I tested it with my own website design business. I spent $500 on a direct mail campaign, generated 50 leads, and about 60% of those leads became paying clients.
The biggest lesson? The mailer itself wasn't the secret. The offer was.
Too many businesses send out a postcard with their logo, a list of services, and a phone number. That's basically an oversized business card.
A better campaign focuses on:
• One specific audience
• One strong offer
• One clear call to action
• A way to track the results
Direct mail works especially well for local businesses because you can target the exact communities you serve. It can also work alongside your digital marketing. Someone sees your postcard today, recognizes you on Facebook next week, Googles your business, and then finally calls.
That's also the idea behind Grande Mail. We don't just sell you space on a postcard. We help you think through the offer, targeting, design, and tracking so the campaign has an actual strategy behind it.
