A little friendly department competition made our company luncheon even more colorful!

Our company luncheons are always a great opportunity to bring everyone together, enjoy some good food, share a few laughs, and spend time with coworkers we may not get to see every day.

Meet Dana, one of our Customer Sales Associates. Dana has been with BTEL for 10 years and 2 months! Dana stated, “My favorite thing about BTEL is the girls that I work with. They are like family to me and make work fun. Also, the flexibility of my job that allows me to take time off so that I never miss any of my children's events and milestones.”

Fun Fact: Dana is an avid shopper and keeps the rest of her team up to date with the trends!

What an incredible event for our local business community! 👏💙

BTEL was proud to attend today’s Procurement & Vendor Workshop, presented through a partnership between Port Freeport and the Brazoria County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Opportunities like this are what bring businesses together, provide valuable resources, and help local vendors better understand how to pursue procurement opportunities…and that is so important for continued growth in our region.

A huge thank you to Port Freeport and the Brazoria County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for recognizing this need and putting together such an informative and impactful event. We were grateful to be part of it!

Over the weekend, some of our customers experienced a service outage after a third party cut one of our cables while digging.

Our team worked tirelessly throughout the weekend to repair the damage and restore service as quickly as possible. While incidents like this are outside of our control, we know the impact an outage has on our customers, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience while our crews worked to get everyone back up and running.

This outage is also an important reminder of why calling 811 before you dig matters. Underground utility lines can be closer than you think, and one accidental cut can impact service for many homes and businesses.

Please call 811 before every digging project whether it is big or small.

37 BTEL customers are currently experiencing a service outage after one of our cables was cut by Comcast contractors during construction.

Our team is actively working to repair the damage and restore service as quickly as possible. We will provide updates as more information becomes available.
