🏡 Mikhael Khan first home, secured and connected — with a setup built to move with them into the next one.

A longtime family friend reached out wanting to get their first home properly secured and upgraded, but with one important goal: invest in technology they could easily take with them when they move into a more permanent home in the future.

We started with a complete eufy US eufy Security smart security setup, with everything working together under one ecosystem:

❄️ A month-long IT transformation for our newest Managed IT client — Bryan Bellamy and All Cool AC & Heating! 🔥

This wasn’t just a quick equipment swap. Over the past month, we’ve been working through their technology from top to bottom, modernizing what needed to be replaced, keeping what still made sense, and putting the right systems in place for the future.

💻 First up: their computers.
Several of their machines had been in service for decades and were well past retirement. We replaced them with brand-new PCs running Windows 11, while upgrading the monitors and peripherals on the existing computers that still had plenty of life left.

☁️ Next: protecting their data.
We implemented off-site cloud backups for their two main PCs, helping centralize and protect the important files they rely on every day. If something happens to a machine, their data isn't sitting in just one place.

🛡️ Then came security.
Every office computer was equipped with anti-malware and endpoint security, along with implementing better technology practices across the company to help keep their systems safer, cleaner, and easier for the team to use.

🌐 Finally: the network.
Their existing Comcast equipment and service were outdated, so we worked on getting that upgraded before rebuilding the network around a simple but solid UniFi Ubiquiti Inc setup:
• Dream Router 7
• USW 24 PoE Switch
• U7 Pro Access Point

The result is better coverage, better stability, updated equipment, and a network we can properly manage moving forward.

And that's the biggest part of this project — we're not disappearing after the install.

Some clients have been with us since the beginning, so when one of our original long-time clients, Craig Popp reached out ready to take his system to the next level, there was only one answer, Yes!

Even if that meant spending part of our Sunday getting it done, we got it done!

One of the biggest advantages of building a network the right way from the start is that upgrades become simple. We were able to retain the existing UniFi switch and access points, then swap the cloud gateway for a much more capable UniFi Dream Machine Pro to provide a stronger foundation for the future.

From there, we added a UNVR and upgraded the surveillance system with the latest Ubiquiti Inc UniFi Protect G6 Dome and G6 Bullet cameras, delivering sharper image quality, better performance, and a fully integrated experience.

🍬 The sweetest part of our job isn’t the frozen yogurt—it’s earning the kind of trust that leads to another scoop. Huge thanks to our friends at 16 Handles— Missouri City HTX for referring us to help build the technology behind the brand-new 16 Handles Fulshear location.

Working alongside the owner, we decided to go all in with a complete Ubiquiti Inc network paired with UniFi Protect surveillance. He already had the cameras purchased and every Cat6 cable professionally run throughout the building, so our job was to tie it all together with a network that could keep up with the daily rush.

🍭 The recipe for a rock-solid network:

We had the opportunity to partner with .av on this office buildout. While they handled the installation and deployment of the low-voltage wiring, video conferencing displays, and workstation setup, we designed and deployed the network that keeps everything running reliably.

To support the entire office, we built out a full ecosystem featuring:

• USW 48 PoE Switch
• 6 U6 Pro Access Points

This provides fast, reliable connectivity throughout the office while also laying the foundation for future expansion, including access control, additional surveillance, and other UniFi integrations as the business continues to grow.

There are two things we hear far too often...
"I've already paid someone to fix this."
"They stopped answering my calls."

This retired physician found us on Google after finally giving up on months of being given the runaround. By the time we arrived, we were the fifth company to step into this network closet—and hopefully the last.

Over the course of a few days, we unraveled years of patchwork fixes: mismatched switches, underpowered access points, two different ISPs held together with band-aid solutions, and 5-6 overlapping Wi-Fi networks all fighting each other.

Every previous installer promised stable internet and whole-home coverage for this 4,000 sq. ft. home, but none delivered. Even worse, when the issues continued, they stopped responding.

That's not how we do business.

We stripped everything out—from TP-Link, Motorola, Netgear, and Linksys—and started with a clean slate. We installed a full network rack and completely rebuilt the data closet, erasing years of clutter, tangled wiring, mismatched hardware, and shortcuts left behind by multiple installers. The result is a clean, organized, and professionally built infrastructure that's easy to service and built to last.

We also ran an additional Ethernet line to support another outdoor access point so every corner of the property would have reliable coverage.

The new deployment included:
• USW 48 PoE Switch
• USW Lite 8 PoE Switch
• Flex Outdoor Switch
• 2× U7 Pro XG Access Points
• 3× U7 Pro Wall Access Points
• 3× U7 Pro Outdoor Access Points
• 1× In-Wall Extender

When a local exit sign company found us through Google, they were dealing with several technology headaches that had been building up over time.

Their aging server was creating bottlenecks throughout the business.

They originally considered moving to a cloud-based accounting server but ultimately decided they wanted a simpler solution without the added complexity of maintaining a domain environment.

They were also experiencing jobs freezing, slow printing, network inconsistencies, multiple Wi-Fi networks, and wanted to remove access from their previous IT provider while taking back control of their workstations.

We came in and completely simplified their infrastructure.

✅ Removed the outdated server
✅ Migrated all existing data to a dedicated local storage machine
✅ Mapped shared data to every workstation
✅ Connected printers directly to workstations for faster and more reliable printing
✅ Removed access from the previous IT company
✅ Eliminated unnecessary workstation management services
✅ Installed an offsite backup solution to provide redundancy and protect their business-critical data
✅ Cleaned up the spiderweb of networking equipment and cabling
✅ Removed leased equipment to reduce monthly expenses
✅ Installed a proper network rack and professionally organized all equipment

To top it off, we deployed a brand-new Ubiquiti network consisting of a UniFi Express 7 Gateway, U7 Lite Access Point, and a 24-Port PoE Switch.
