What does brainstorming at Torx actually look like? 🧠

A whiteboard full of half-finished thoughts. ✏️
A few ideas that get immediately vetoed. 👎️
One person saying, “Okay, hear me out…” 😬
Someone building on an idea that started completely differently.
And eventually, that one idea that makes everyone stop and go, “Yep. That’s it.” 😎

Good ideas don't always arrive quietly or neatly. Sometimes they need a little chaos, a lot of collaboration, and room to get weird before they get good. That’s the fun part. 🧩 🤓

Marketing term you might not know: Zero-click search.

A zero-click search occurs when someone searches for something on Google and finds the answer they need directly on the results page, without clicking through to a website.

For example, you search “coffee shops near me,” Google shows the answer, and you never visit a coffee shop's website. ☕️

Why does this matter? Because website traffic isn't always the best measure of whether your business is showing up in search. Your business can still gain visibility, answer questions, build recognition, and get discovered, even when nobody clicks. 🤷‍♀️

The search landscape is changing. The way we measure success has to change with it.

Marketing mistake to avoid: Trying to appeal to everyone. 📣

We get it. You don't want to leave potential customers out. But when your marketing tries to speak to everyone, it often ends up connecting with no one in particular.

Your messaging should make the right person think: “Yep. This is for me.”

Know who you're talking to. Understand what they need. Speak their language. Show them why your business is the right fit. 🧩

You don't need everyone to love your marketing. You need the right people to pay attention to it. 🤓

Outside of work? She’s a proud Disney adult.🏰She recently got back from Disney World, so naturally, she’s already thinking about when she can go again.🎆

When she’s not planning her next Disney trip, you might find her curled up with a book.📖She’s currently re-reading Harry Potter and is a big fan of fantasy novels, including The Hunger Games.🏹
