MEET Mariah Crawford! 💗

Mariah Crawford is a graphic designer and owner of
M. Sven Design Studio in Richmond, Virginia. She has been married for six years to her amazing husband and is also a mom of four to Jeremiah, Madison, Jaxon, and her bonus baby, Jelani.

Mariah created M.Sven with the belief that: 1) Small businesses can still make big impacts and 2) Black and female-owned businesses deserve to feel elevated too...with the right design of course!

M.Sven Design Studio is now an entrepre"noir" fueled, "She"EO led studio devoted to creating eye catching brand and web design for female and minority-led small businesses. At M.Sven, each brand design is created from a detailed questionnaire, a one-on-one consultation with each client and a strategy based on what the client's respective industry is. Their web designs include a beautifully designed website led by each client's branding and industry needs.

Unfortunately not only is canva not a vector based program meaning you're not able to scale your logo without it looking pixelated but you can't copyright your logo created in canva. ⁠
⁠
This is 100% not to dump on canva because I still think it's a pretty useful tool. But When it comes to your logo, canva's logo templates are customizable so they're: #1 user friendly & #2 able to be used by everybody. This means that your rights to the logo are non-exclusive and you can't register it as a trademark.⁠
