We miss when AI stood for Adobe Illustrator.
While AI can generate just about anything these days, we still believe there’s something valuable about the human side of design: understanding the business, developing the concept, and making intentional choices that actually fit the brand.
AI-generated logos are built through pattern recognition from existing material, much of which comes from creative work that artists and designers have made. That can make copyright difficult to defend, and more importantly, a logo is supposed to be unique to the business it represents, not a remix of what already exists.
AI also doesn't approach design the way a human designer does. Things like intentional white space, balance, symbolism, and knowing what not to add are part of the thinking behind a strong visual identity.
For Pantoro Financial Intelligence, we created a visual identity designed to communicate the intelligence, clarity, and expertise behind their brand. Because good branding isn't just about what looks good. It's about understanding the business behind it and creating something that feels uniquely theirs.
What does AI mean to you these days?
