Construction is moving along at Carytown Place!

For those of you wondering, the City and the City arborist are actively involved in any trees that are being removed. All landscaping is in accordance with the approved SUP, and some are directly a result of existing tree damage and these are being replaced with more suitable trees as directed by the city. We will be providing more green area and landscaping than existing and will be placing landscaping throughout the parking area (as opposed to the existing sea of asphalt) including providing additional tree wells along the curb areas for all three streets (Nansemond/Floyd/Ellwood). We look forward to the final product!

In case you missed it: Last night, City Council voted unanimously to approve our permit application!

The Richmond City Council gave a Maryland-based developer approval Monday to convert the Verizon building at 10 N. Nansemond St. into a retail development, paving the way for the fourth grocery store within several blocks.
