Recite Me US

Recite Me US Recite is an online software as service system that allows any website to become accessible to users with visual impairments or dyslexia.

Recite is an online software as a service system, which acts as a translation layer intercepting websites online in accessible formats. It repackages them and adds disability functions from text-to-speech, high contrast colour schemes, enlarging words through to dictionary and thesaurus definitions. All this information is sent to the user's browser in an easily accessible format. This happens immediately and online with no software to install, hence instant access and usability on any computer for any website .

Last week, Kelly Jan had the pleasure of attending the Disability:IN North Carolina 2026 Fall Conference!

It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with others and share how Recite Me is helping create a more inclusive digital world 🙌

📢 NEW: High-contrast icons are here!

A more personalized online experience starts with choice.

That's why we're excited to introduce even more ways to customize the Recite Me Assistive Toolbar!

Users can now choose from yellow, white, or black Toolbar icons, alongside our existing multicolored options.

It's a small change that can make a big difference, helping people find the colors and contrast that feel clearest and most comfortable for them.

Because when it comes to accessibility, one size doesn't fit all.

As part of our 36 for 36 campaign, we're sharing 36 digital accessibility tips to put into action. Here's tip #4 of 36.

Put your mouse aside and try navigating your website using only your keyboard. Use Tab to move between links and buttons, Enter to activate them, and the arrow keys to scroll.

Can you see where you are on the page and reach everything you need? Keyboard navigation is essential for many people who can't use a mouse.

Animated key icons highlight each key as links are selected, a page opens and content scrolls. On-screen text encourages viewers to test their website using these keys. It's World Mental Health Day and the theme is "Lived experiences heard: real voices, real change."

Our founder and CEO, Ross Linnett, knows from his own experience of dyslexia how exclusion can affect the way we feel about ourselves. Here, he reflects on the connection between accessibility, inclusion and mental wellbeing.

PDFs are one of the most overlooked parts of digital accessibility, yet they’re often where essential information lives.

We know this will resonate with a lot of teams working toward compliance. With thousands of documents, small teams, and limited time, fixing PDFs one by one just isn’t realistic.

In our latest blog, we explain how the Recite Me PDF Accessibility Checker helps you find and fix barriers at scale: https://eu1.hubs.ly/H0yZf9k0

For International Dyslexia Awareness Day, we’re sharing the personal experience behind Recite Me.

Our founder and CEO, Ross Linnet , wasn’t diagnosed with dyslexia until after university. Having grown up feeling misunderstood at school, he recognized how differently people can process information and the difference the right support can make.

That experience inspired him to create Recite Me, helping more people access information in ways that work for them.

Today, Ross’s story continues to shape our work and our commitment to removing digital barriers so more people can learn, work and take part in everyday life.

What does accessible travel look like before you even arrive at the airport?

Columbia Metropolitan Airport is making the travel experience more inclusive by helping passengers access important information in ways that work for them.

With the Recite Me Assistive Toolbar, passengers can personalize how they interact with CAE’s website, including text-to-speech, translation, and customizable display options.
