Last week, we officially cut the ribbon on the next chapter of Hitachi Federal.

Our new headquarters is more than a place to work. It is a space for collaboration, connection and bringing together the people and capabilities that help federal agencies address complex mission needs. As Hitachi Federal continues to expand its role in the U.S. federal market through One Hitachi, we’re excited to build on the strong foundation that brought us here.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the celebration and to the employees, partners and customers who continue to be part of our journey.

Here’s to what comes next.

Nothing like a Caps game to bring the team together. 🏒

This weekend, members of the Hitachi Federal team had the chance to step away from the office and enjoy some Washington Capitals hockey together at Capital One Arena.

We’re grateful for opportunities like these to connect with colleagues, share a great experience and spend some time together outside of the workday.

Thanks to everyone who joined us, and go Caps!

For federal agencies, confidence in the security of mission-critical infrastructure starts with independent validation.

Hitachi Vantara’s VSP One Block has achieved Common Criteria (ISO/IEC 15408) certification, providing internationally recognized validation of key security capabilities and additional assurance for government agencies evaluating infrastructure for sensitive data and workloads.

The certification reinforces the resilient data foundation we bring to federal missions through our partnership with Hitachi Vantara. As agencies strengthen cyber resilience, navigate evolving compliance requirements and prepare data environments for AI, independently evaluated infrastructure can help reduce risk and support greater confidence in the technology underpinning the mission.

Hitachi Federal is headed to Honolulu for TechNet Indo-Pacific 2026.

From October 27-29, we’ll join defense, government and fellow industry leaders to explore how AI, resilient data infrastructure and secure information sharing can help strengthen decision superiority across the Indo-Pacific. This year’s program centers on operational priorities including AI-enabled decision support, cyber resilience and interoperable architectures for joint and coalition missions.

At Hitachi Federal, we help agencies build the infrastructure foundation needed to turn data into timely, trusted mission outcomes, from AI-ready infrastructure and high-performance data environments to cyber resiliency and hybrid operations.

Our partnership with the American Heart Association is giving our team a chance to make a difference, starting right here at Hitachi Federal headquarters.

As we get ready for the 2026 Greater Washington Region Heart Walk on Nov. 7, we welcomed AHA Development Director Christian Salama for a CPR training and demonstration. Employees gained hands-on practice and knowledge to help them feel more prepared to act in a cardiac emergency.

Thank you, Christian, for leading the session, and to our colleagues for taking part. We’re grateful for the opportunity to learn together and support the AHA’s lifesaving work.

Federal year-end asks a lot of our partner community. As we turn the page towards a new government fiscal year, we hope you’ll join us to celebrate the work behind us and look ahead to what’s next.

On October 14th, Hitachi Federal will host our FY27 Federal New Year Celebration at the Archer Hotel Tysons. The evening will feature a federal market outlook from Kevin Plexico, Senior Vice President of Information Solutions at Deltek, followed by cocktails, food and time to reconnect with fellow partners.

Today, we remember the lives lost on Sept. 11, 2001, and honor the courage of the first responders, service members and everyday Americans who answered in a moment of unimaginable crisis.

Twenty-five years later, we continue to hold their families, loved ones and all those affected in our thoughts.

We will never forget.

High-performance computing supports some of the federal government’s most demanding missions. But compute performance alone is not enough.

Federal agencies also need fast access to data across systems, sites, and cloud environments. A modern data foundation can reduce storage bottlenecks, improve collaboration, and support traditional and new workloads.

High-performance computing is changing. Federal organizations need a data foundation that can keep pace, particularly in research and scientific agencies.

AI, machine learning, and traditional simulation workloads place different demands on infrastructure. Legacy storage architectures can create data silos, slow data access, and limit system performance.

Our new solution profile explains how agencies can modernize HPC data infrastructure, improve access across sites, support and workloads, and extend existing technology investments: https://bit.ly/4gEYOyu
