Well 2021 is coming to a close. Unfortunately this virus won’t go away. All we can do as business owners and employees is power through. However we are surviving and we have great customers helping us. We are install fiber now and many camera systems. Last month we partnered with Transmosis One to implement new live monitored internet security for our customers. Protection of our customers data is paramount and we’re always looking for new technologies. We have been licensed low voltage contractors in Nevada and California for many years and working on Colorado for 2022. We also raised our Nevada contractors license limit to $245,000. So things are still looking up for 2022 and I wish you all the best. Merry Christmas and have a great New Year.

Since we’re still on Mr. Toads wild ride we should all be more aware of the bad guys out there trying to separate you or a family member from their money. Wether it’s by phone or digitally be weary of your surroundings. Talk to your parents or grand parents about talking to strangers on the phone or threatening emails. Tell them to hang up or delete it.

Watch your email for a phishing emails with excel spreadsheets attached. They have a malicious macro that’s downloads and runs a program called Netsupport manager and gives remote access to your computer. Also speak to your family about receiving an email about a personal coronavirus check. Don’t open it just delete them.

This is my personal opinion.
If you use Yahoo or SBCGlobal email you need to move your email account somewhere else. I have been told numerous times that those email accounts are being hacked. Not just hacked but being watched from someone who has access to account information they should not have. They wait until you have a financial email hijack it and have you send the money to their account. Sounds crazy but it’s true. I think the account information is sold to outsiders and used either by their employees or the hackers. It’s too weird that it’s happened to 3 or 4 people I know. Be warned.

Today we started a small job in a warehouse for another IT company. I look up and here is a fiber optic run someone else did the other day. There are so many things wrong I can’t list them but the kicker is using the fiber to be it’s own strain relief. I know it has a Kevlar braid in it but it isn’t that strong. Pretty sure it’s going to fail. While we were running some other wires I ran a new CAT6 to the same location as this fiber. Someday they are gonna thank me. It was only 200’ total so fiber wasn’t even needed.

On Monday we are delivering cash and gifts in excess of $2800.00 to Volunteers of America Family shelter. I could not have done this without the help of my friends. Your the greatest and I can’t thank them enough. We’re helping children receive gifts and parents receive work clothing needed so they can start new jobs in our community and get back on their feet. If you didn’t know VOA is a great place that helps hundreds of people and families every day. Their work in the community is unmeasurable. The money they receive actually goes to help people in our community. We work on their computers and it breaks my heart to see families displaced and roaming the streets when we go there.
