Reedsburg Utility will be performing routine hydrant flushing maintenance throughout the month of October.

Hydrant flushing is an important part of maintaining our water system. This process helps:

• Maintain water quality
• Ensure proper system operation
• Verify that hydrants are functioning correctly

Residents may notice temporary discoloration of water or changes in water pressure while flushing is taking place in their area. If you experience any concerns, please contact Reedsburg Utility Commission.

Reedsburg Utility Commission is proud to support the Summer Outdoor Adventure Club (SOAC) of Reedsburg with a donation of Darwin digital microscopes, SRAM bicycle shifter sets and bicycle brake cable housings.

For more than 30 years, SOAC has provided local youth with opportunities to explore the outdoors, learn new skills and build confidence through hands-on experiences. We're excited that these items will help enhance the organization's environmental education and bicycle programs for students throughout our community.

As your locally owned, not-for-profit municipal utility, we're committed to investing in organizations that make a positive difference in the lives of area youth and strengthen the Reedsburg community.

⚾ Congratulations to our Reedsburg baseball team!

After an incredible run that ended with a thrilling victory in the Ohio Valley Regional Championship, this talented group of young athletes is headed to the Babe Ruth League World Series in Eagle Pass, Texas.

Reedsburg Utility is proud to support their journey with a $1,000 donation. These players have been playing together since they were nine years old, and their hard work, dedication, and teamwork have brought them to this amazing opportunity.

Good luck to the players, coaches, and families as you head to Texas. Your entire Reedsburg community is cheering you on.

It is always a pleasure to meet with Rep Kurtz as he is engaged and listens to his constituents. We discussed important issues related to municipal utilities such as affordability and the impacts of data centers, local control and decision making, reliability, and service territories.

A very productive discussion this morning with some of my district's utility leaders from Reedsburg and Richland Center during the Municipal Electric Utilities of WI Capitol Day!
