For sale are a refurbished pair of BeoLab 8000s with new foam. They both work and sound wonderful, after a restoration!

These are a pair of BeoLab 8000 Loudspeakers that have been mechanically and electronically refurbished. The original old rotten foam was completely cleaned from the cabinets and new original Bang and Olufsen foam installed. Transistors T-11 and T-9 were replaced on both units, as after 30 years they often fail. The cast bases have also been repainted in the original B&O black. The units have a few nicks and scratches on the backs of the aluminum - consistent with normal wear.

If you are looking at purchasing a pair of BeoLab 8000s, do not bother with a pair that has not had the original foam replaced, as it will cause the amplifier board to fail and the unit will not power on. To have one speaker fixed and new foam installed is $700 at the Bang and Olufsen service center of northern California!!! Save yourself the pain and costly repair!

I am a serious Bang & Olufsen enthusiast and as you can see by my setup, I am not someone unfamiliar with the brand or the BeoLab 8000s and would be glad to answer any and all questions.

This is a new, custom designed Beogram 4004 Power Capacitor Board.

The power capacitors, like all electrolytics, need replaced after ~ 50 years. The problem is that these capacitors are obsolete and are no longer produced. This is nearly a plug and play solution and only requires the end user to remove the old capacitor and solder in the two existing leads - it is very well designed and does not require less than attractive 3D printed mounts for non-exact spec through hole capacitors, and maintains sufficient space between the platter and the top of the capacitors. The board is produced with high-quality Würth SMD capacitors.

For sale is a Bang & Olufsen Beogram 4002 (Type 5513) tangential turntable that has been mechanically restored with new PowerLink and power cables professionally installed. Comes with a MMC 20EN cartridge.

The Beogram 4000 series is the original iconic turntable which set the standard for all record players that came after - being featured in MoMA's permanent collection.

The unit has been completely gone through - with all new transport lock bushings (custom made from real rubber and not 3D printed), new fuses, new plinth cabinet washers, new belts, and new rubber motor mounts. The original dust cover is included.
