Best Value for Marriott / SPG

Currently there is a promotion of 30% bonus miles when converting Hotel rewards to United Miles, this creates a great opportunity to cash you Marriott/SPG points. The promotion is good in November 2017.

Marriott rewards:

1. Register your United account at promotion page https://promotions.united.com/offers/p2m , for you to be eligible for the promotion. If you don't have existing Untied MileagePlus account, please apply for one at United.com for free.

2. Transfer Marriott rewards to United MileagePlus at http://www.marriott.com/rewards/usepoints/morerew.mi

3. Make an order for your United MileagePlus at http://milesp2p.com/united

One example is 112,000 Marriott converts to 50,000 miles, with 30% promotion you'll get 65,000 United miles, at $13/k total is $845 -- it equals to $7.5/k for your Marriott rewards. Typical process is:

You make an order at MilesP2P.com for your Global Premier Upgrades.

Wait for instruction (Waiting time varies depending on demand. For newly added product, it takes some time to boost demand. Please do not hesitate to make an order because of concern of waiting. It gets a place in the queue for you. Bottom line is that you may cancel an order in Waiting status anytime.)

Boycott United Airlines? Do it Smartly!

You might be angry at passenger dragged by United Airline and decide to boycott United. However letting your existing United Mileageplus expire isn't a good idea. The reason is simple: United has got the money for the miles in your account; letting miles expire equals to giving free money to United. Redemption of the miles is like taking money back from United.

Smart way to use your miles if you decided to not taking United Airline? Selling your miles at milesp2p.com. Not only because you get paid for the miles, but also add cost to United Airline miles. The redemption takes a seat which otherwise Untied could sell at a price. Sometimes miles are used towards flights operated by different airline in the same alliance, in that case United has to pay the operating airline for the seat.
