🚨 PRINT TIP: WHY DOES MY LOGO LOOK STRETCHED?

Have you ever sent us a logo or photo and wondered why we said it was skewed?

A skewed image happens when a graphic is stretched wider or taller without keeping its original proportions.

❌ SKEWED: The logo may look too wide, too skinny, too tall, or squished.

✅ PROPORTIONAL: The width and height stay correctly balanced, so your logo looks exactly as it was designed.

🔍 WHY DOES THIS MATTER?

Something that looks slightly stretched on your phone can become VERY noticeable when enlarged onto a:

👕 T-shirt
🪧 Yard sign
📢 Banner
📄 Flyer
🖼️ Poster

Helpful Tip: When resizing your logo or photo, always keep the proportions locked. Avoid dragging only the sides or top of an image to make it fit.

And if you’re not sure whether your artwork is print-ready—send it to us! We can take a look before you print.

We actually see this a lot! Please don’t skew your photos to fit into a space! Try cropping your image instead. -dayPrinting

We were asked to recreate an old shirt with no files, only the faded images. We think it looks pretty good! Customer is happy. We’re happy! We love a challenge! ‼️
