This is a USB-c port from a Macbook is COVERED in glue for some odd reason. Please don't do that - if you need to wiggle your charging cable around to get it to work, just bring it to Nick at Phone Guy Repairs and he'll fix it properly and quickly.

This iPad certainly took a swim somewhere! The water residue may still be on the plates but what really matters lives under those plates - the flex cables, the chips, components, etc. Luckily the device was repairable with some deep, precise cleaning and replacing of parts - way to go, Nick!

Yikes! Water damage made its way on the frame on this iPhone. You can see that the black water resistant adhesive along the frame is fading away. This kind of unaddressed water damage can make the phone unrepairable. Don't let it get to this point! Remember, the "water resistance" on iPhones start degrading a year after purchase.
